Cheesesteaks and Hoagies
Great steaks and hoagies are so ubiquitous in Philly that they can be found at almost any corner deli. Our favorite hoagie chain is Primo Hoagies.
Soft Pretzels
Lots of shops sell Philly-style soft pretzels (which are one of Audrey's favorite foods). At the Philly Pretzel Factory, with locations all over the city, you can get a ridiculous number of pretzels for $5.
Reading Terminal Market
Steaks, hoagies, and pretzels can all be found at the Reading Terminal Market, Philly's historic Farmer's Market. Stalls and shops sell baked goods, meats, produce, flowers, ethnic foods, and cookware, and are mingled with eclectic restaurants. There's something for everyone here.
Sabrina's
Our favorite brunch place, but really excellent for any meal! Sabrina's has a wide variety of both classic and inventive food, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Daniel has only finished the Stuffed French Toast once, but orders it almost every time.
Shake Shack
A regional burger joint with tasty food and excellent milkshakes. There three Shake Shacks in Philly, because it is the best city on earth.

Army/Navy Game
The 2013 Army/Navy Game will be held on Saturday, December 14 in Philly. Be sure to get your tickets ahead of time! Ticket information.
Independence National Historic Park
Independence National Historic Park, in Old City, Philadelphia, features historic sites related to American Independence including The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. And it's free!
The Franklin Institute
One of our favorite museums in Philadelphia, The Franklin Institute is a science museum and the site of the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the largest museums in the world, with art collections spanning two huge buildings in the Fairmount/Art Museum district of Philadelphia. Also, home of the stairs from the movie Rocky (with statue of titular character).
Eastern State Penitentiary
Eastern State was the world's first true penitentiary, and was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world. But it was abandoned, and now stands in "preserved ruin." Here's a coupon!
